Zenker / Pharyngoesophageal diverticulum

• Mucosal outpouching through Kilian triangle.
• Pseudodiverticula.
• MC esophageal diverticula

Pathophysiology:-
• Neuromuscular incordination

C/F :-
• Dysphagia
• Age >50 years
• Halitosis
• Regurgitation

Diagnosis :-
• Barium swallow



Complications :-
• Aspiration, Lung abscess, Pneumonia
